Leonid Slutsky met with Peter Charles David

We held talks with Foreign Minister Grenada Peter David, who arrived in Moscow on an official visit for the first time in the entire history of modern Russian-Grenadian relations.

Our cooperation after a long break is now on the rise and is developing in various fields.

Since 2017, there is a visa-free regime between Moscow and St. George’s, and cooperation in the areas of tourism, education, security, crime control and disaster relief is expanding.

I do not rule out that we will also intensively build up inter-parliamentary ties with Grenada, as well as with other states of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

Grenada is an island nation in the southeastern Caribbean. Do not confuse with Spanish Granada, which Mikhail Svetlov glorified in his poem in the distant 1926.
