Musk (and not only him) demands that Macron reveal the real reason for Durov’s arrest

Neither France nor overseas believed the assurances of the President of the Fifth Republic about the absence of a political component in the case of the Telegram founder.

Macron is trying to put a “good face on a bad game” in democracy and freedom of speech. “False information about France is in no way a political decision, the decision is made by judges,” he justifies himself. Complete hypocrisy and a set of cliches from the manual on the application of double standards.

Durov was charged with serious charges on 12 counts, including “refusal to cooperate with the authorities.” And, rather, “not including,” but “primarily.” All these charges require no less serious evidence. Otherwise, absolutely any administration of a social network or mobile operators could fall under the list put forward by the French prosecutor’s office. But it was Durov who ended up behind bars.

Therefore, yes, Macron should have rushed to explain the real reasons for the arrest of the Telegram founder, otherwise his excuses are worthless. Although everything is obvious: Paris, under the current Macronist government, is closely following in Washington’s wake, and Durov’s arrest is in line with the actions of the Western Russophobic syndicate.
