The Russian Ministry of Digital Development is preparing proposals for additional social support measures for journalists working in combat zones. In particular, to establish the title of “Veteran of Military Journalism”, enshrining this in the federal law “On Veterans”.
We are glad that our initiatives, prepared back in 2022 together with military correspondents, have been fully approved by the relevant department. The party sought such decisions, worked on them for a long time.
And now it does not matter who will be officially declared the author of these initiatives. The main thing is that our dedicated military correspondents, constantly risking their lives at the front, would receive state guarantees for themselves and their loved ones.
