NATO Secretary General Rutte announced that Ukraine has been invited to the alliance summit in The Hague. In what capacity? It is unclear.

But it is absolutely clear: the Alliance is ready to continue to create obstacles to the direct negotiation process. For Russia, one of the key conditions for a peaceful settlement is the non-aligned and non-nuclear status of Ukraine. The inadmissibility of military activity by third countries and the deployment of foreign military formations, bases or infrastructure on its territory has been repeatedly emphasized. All of these are components of an anti-Russian bridgehead at the borders of our country.

But Brussels is subject to inertial thinking. NATO cannot admit the unprofitability of the “anti-Russia” project in Ukraine. Invitations to NATO summits are a consolation prize for the Kyiv regime, which has nothing to do with reality. Russia’s victory is inevitable – either at the negotiating table or on the battlefield.
