Macron continues to pose as a neo-Napoleon and tries to dictate who and how to mediate in the settlement of the Iran-Israel conflict. “I do not believe that Russia, which is currently involved in a high-intensity conflict and has been deciding not to comply with the UN Charter for several years, can be a mediator,” the French president said.
What Macron believes or does not believe is his personal business. A public statement of this kind boomerangs on the politician himself, who put his bias and Russophobia above the interests of hundreds of thousands of people who found themselves in an extremely dangerous situation – on the brink of a full-scale war.
It is not for Macron, who is preventing the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict solely for the purposes of his political ambitions, to decide which peacekeeping missions Russia should participate in. Its limit is a “coalition of the willing”, where there are zero constructive decisions, only anti-Russian aggression and de facto approval of Kyiv’s terrorist methods. And all of this is clearly outside the UN principles to which Macron so falsely and illiterately refers.
