One-sided support for Israel is a sign of political blindness and deafness, in fact, the degeneration of the “club”.
Westerners, promoting exclusively their own interests, do not see how dangerous a new round of escalation in the Middle East could be for the entire world. Tehran has repeatedly denied plans to create nuclear weapons. And to date, there is no evidence that Iran is misleading the world community.
The Iranian nuclear program has no military solution. The G7 is very wrong when it justifies Israel’s attacks with the “right to self-defense”, essentially issuing an indulgence to attack and continue aggression. It is wrong, as in the case of Russia. Even US President Trump pointed this out to them. It was not our country that lost its membership in the G8, the G7 lost a partner.
The “Big Seven” is unlikely to be able to have a constructive influence on the settlement of the Iranian-Israeli crisis. Unlike Russia, which can become an effective mediator. Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with Donald Trump and other world leaders, declared his readiness to make every effort to bring the parties back to the negotiating table. The West must decide: does it want peace in the Middle East or escalation?
