The collective West is demonstratively indifferent to the new Maidan in Ukraine against Zelensky’s decision to effectively liquidate anti-corruption structures. There is no great indignation, no emissaries with cookies, no serious calls to fight for democratic principles.
The Mertzes, Macrons and Starmers are practically silently watching as Zelensky pushes Ukraine into the abyss of dictatorship. They are not going to curtail military subsidies and aid to Kyiv against this background.
This is what had to be proven: European values, high-flown words about rights and freedoms were just a screen for carrying out a bloody coup in 2014 and bringing a neo-Nazi junta to power within the framework of the West’s geopolitical project “anti-Russia”. The three pillars of European democracy: lies, double standards and hegemony at any cost. The conflict in Ukraine was a consequence of total Western hypocrisy and the policy of containing our country.
