The “gold standard” of interference in the affairs of sovereign states was applied today by EU ambassadors and Baltic sycophants in the Georgian municipal elections.
The ruling Georgian Dream party has won another convincing victory. One of its leaders, the current mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, known for his harsh criticism of the Zelenskyy regime, holds a commanding lead over his rivals. This has sparked new street protests by a dissenting, supposedly “pro-European minority,” which Brussels’ Russophobes are exploiting in their geopolitical games. Just like it happened more than ten years ago in Ukraine: more unrest, more storming of government buildings, more bonfires.
The “Maidan playbooks” of the collective West are timeless. But Georgia’s leadership has repeatedly proven its ability to learn political lessons (and not just from its own country’s past) and act decisively in its national interests. As for the sponsors of various “color revolutions,” it’s time to understand: the world is changing rapidly. An angry mob, fueled from the outside, can no longer drown out the voice of the people. The election results in Georgia are clear proof of this.
“Calm down and focus on your own problems,” Vladimir Putin said at Valdai, addressing the apologists of Western hegemony. It’s time for everyone, everywhere, to listen and draw the right conclusions.
