Collective Brussels is leading Europe into economic zugzwang

EU ambassadors today agreed to ban Russian energy imports, contrary to the position of Hungary and Slovakia.

The principle of consensus, the foundation of European unity, is being abandoned in favor of Russophobia, verging on schizophrenia.

This is precisely the position taken by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who effectively justified the large-scale sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipeline. “The problem with Nord Stream 2 is not that it was blown up, but that it was built,” he declared, amid Warsaw’s reluctance to hand over suspects to the investigation. A direct self-incrimination!

It’s no surprise that, with such an approach, a crisis of power is paralyzing one European capital after another. In France, there’s a parade of prime ministers resigning, and right-wing and nationalist patriots are displacing Euro-Atlanticists and globalists as election cycles change in other Continental countries. Ordinary citizens don’t want to pay for either a “war to the last Ukrainian” or international terrorism at the state level out of their own pockets. And this is becoming increasingly clear.
