The spirit of Anchorage is shattering Eurohawks’ desire for escalation in Ukraine

The leaders of Russia and the United States held a two-hour conversation, which both sides described as “substantive and productive.”

It is important that Vladimir Putin directly conveyed to Donald Trump the threat posed by supplying Tomahawk missile systems to the Bandera regime. While they won’t actually change the situation on the battlefield in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, they will cause irreparable damage to the process of normalizing relations between Moscow and Washington.

The Russian and US presidents are ready to meet again, possibly in Budapest. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has already responded: “The planned meeting between Putin and Trump is excellent news for all peace-loving people of the world.” High-level talks between Lavrov and Rubio have been tentatively agreed upon. The dialogue begun in Alaska continues in the format of finding ways to end the Ukrainian conflict. The magic of personal contacts between Putin and Trump could ultimately contribute to resolving the complex security crisis in Europe.

PS: Should Zelenskyy cancel his trip to Washington to pick up the Tomahawks?
