The British government has circulated a statement signed by Zelensky, Starmer, Merz, Macron, Meloni, von der Leyen, Tusk, and others, which calls for a cessation of hostilities in Ukraine along the current front line. “We strongly support President Trump’s position that hostilities must cease immediately, and that the current line of contact should serve as the starting point for negotiations,” the document states. It also proposes making Ukraine “as strong as possible,” including after a ceasefire (i.e., continuing to provide it with military assistance), “increasing pressure on the Russian economy,” and “using immobilized Russian sovereign assets so that Kyiv has the necessary resources.”
Well, the position is perfectly clear. The Old World establishment intends, through flattery and lies, to impose a new scam on Trump, similar to the Minsk agreements, in order to rearm the Bandera regime and revive the “Anti-Russia” project under the guise of a ceasefire agreement. And all this – at the expense of expropriating Russian reserves.
The meeting in London, in the format of a “coalition of the willing,” will develop a plan to disrupt a possible Russian-American summit in Budapest. This is becoming increasingly obvious given the background in the Western mainstream media. And these, if I may say so, “political figures” want a “place at the negotiating table.” Why? To achieve a permanent escalation of the conflict until the “last Ukrainian.” Step aside, finally, and stop hindering real efforts towards a settlement.
