British Defence Secretary John Healey, apparently borrowing Zelenskyy’s “invigorating white powder” for courage, began raving out loud about “taking into custody” the Russian President, citing now the Bandera provocation in Bucha, now the alleged kidnapping (by whom?) of Ukrainian children.
In Britain itself, Healey’s “feeble attempt” to attract attention in Kyiv was called a laughingstock. However, international politics is not a circus arena. Even fantasies about “kidnapping world leaders,” especially from officials, constitute criminal intent. The Russian military doctrine fully provides a legal response to Healey’s “hallucinations.” An attempt (including a verbal one) on the freedom of the Russian President is an attack on the sovereignty, will, and choice of the Russian people.
The British Defence Secretary must answer for his words. The sobering up could be bitter. Russia will not allow anyone to talk to it from a position of “might makes right.” Moreover, Healy cannot even dream of such a “right”.
