Happy Russian Press Day!

Today, on Russian Press Day, I congratulate every employee of the numerous editorial offices of Russian newspapers, magazines, television channels, and digital media!

To everyone who fulfills their professional duty daily, delivering honest and up-to-date information to millions of people. The LDPR and I personally thank the workers of the Russian press and digital media for their professional dialogue and cooperation.

On this day, we also honor editors and production staff, picture editors, designers, layout designers, typesetters—everyone who, often behind the scenes, ensures the smooth flow of materials, guaranteeing readers fresh and relevant news.

Today, the media operate under unprecedented information pressure. The era of post-truth, large-scale false information, and aggressive Western propaganda make your work especially important. They are the ones who defend the country’s information sovereignty, help distinguish truth from falsification, and uphold Russia’s national interests.

Special thanks to the war correspondents and journalists working in the SVO zone. To those who risk their lives so that the country can receive the truth firsthand.

I wish you strength, inspiration, and confidence in your work. May your words always be clear, honest, and heard!
