Western media are actively whipping up hysteria surrounding the situation in Iran amid calls by US leaders for protesters to seize power in the country. Sources in The Washington Post report that the Trump administration has requested intelligence from European allies for strikes in response to the “crackdown on protests” by the Iranian opposition.
The same publication notes that although there is no unity within the US administration yet, the seriousness of the intentions is confirmed. If the White House decides to resort to aggression against Tehran, it will be a grave mistake for Washington.
In its oil rush, the US is prepared to detonate not only commodity markets (literally all the leaders of the Persian Gulf states are warning Trump about such risks), but also to destabilize the entire region.
The events in Iran are unfolding according to the pattern of “color revolutions” and are clearly inspired from outside with the aim of “regime change.” Western politicians have effectively endorsed this, calling on protesters to continue street clashes and overthrow the legitimately elected government.
