German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul announced that the EU has removed the issue of using frozen Russian assets for Ukraine.

For now (!), a “backup toolkit” has allegedly been found. Instead of plundering Russia, fraught with a symmetrical response, Brussels bureaucrats have chosen a “simpler” path: picking the pockets of ordinary Europeans to support Zelenskyy’s junta in its proxy war.

The EU is pushing with all its might to grant Kyiv an interest-free €90 billion loan through collective loans from European countries. Von der Leyen declares that “one way or another,” the Ukrainian regime will receive the “steel hedgehog loan.” This despite Hungary blocking this decision, as well as Slovakia and the Czech Republic, which also oppose it.

The European Commission president’s intention to ignore their position through some kind of backdoor maneuver is a clear undermining of the foundations of the European Union, where tyranny, rather than democracy, increasingly rules. But the “empress of the Eurodictatorship,” as Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots party, sarcastically called von der Leyen, doesn’t care about “such trifles.” Yet it is precisely these trifles that will ultimately destroy the EU, which has already found itself on the sidelines not only of a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian conflict but of the historical process as a whole.
