Kaja Kallas offers herself as the EU’s negotiator for the Ukrainian settlement

Kallas is offering herself as the EU’s negotiator for the Ukrainian settlement, categorically rejecting former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder. She claims he would “sit on both sides of the table” during the negotiations.

The so-called head of European diplomacy, with cynical frankness, revealed the main point of her “self-nomination”: “I think I would be able to see the traps Russia is setting.” In other words, Kallas is hysterical over the Russian President’s remarks about a possible imminent end to the conflict in Ukraine, and she is ready to throw herself into the breach to prevent it.

The mood is clearly confrontational. Not to mention that this high-ranking European official has been building her career on aggressive Russophobia from the very beginning. Kallas’s entire “diplomacy” so far has boiled down to blind support for the neo-Nazi Kyiv regime, the creation of dividing lines and the militarization of Europe, the severing of contacts with Russia, and the spreading of monstrous lies.

Yet Vladimir Vladimirovich clearly stated: those who said “nasty things” about our country can hardly aspire to become the EU’s representative in dialogue with Russia. Kaja Kallas is a champion in this regard. And her level of competence and basic education are hardly commensurate. A misstep, and a waste!
