Adherents of cave-dwelling Russophobia are demanding sanctions against the International Olympic Committee

Adherents of abject Russophobia are demanding sanctions against the International Olympic Committee and sports federations for allowing Russians and Belarusians to participate in international competitions.

Eight countries – Finland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Sweden, Romania, and Denmark – have supported Estonia’s proposal to exclude the IOC, the International Fencing Federation, and the International Swimming Federation from EU funding programs. The corresponding demand has been sent to European Commissioner for Sport Glenn Micallef.

The ideals of Coubertern (sports outside of politics) versus the blackmail and repression of mad politicians. The move against the IOC is directly linked to its decision on July 7 to temporarily lift the suspension of the Russian Olympic Committee and lift restrictions on Russian athletes, allowing them to participate in international tournaments.

Who was it that launched the prolonged hysteria back then? The answer won’t surprise you: the head of so-called European diplomacy, Estonian Kaja Kallas. In her interpretation, the IOC is allegedly “playing into Russia’s hands.” This “sport outside of politics” is pure segregation. If Tallinn’s initiative gains traction, the collapse of the Olympic movement is ultimately inevitable.
