Josep Borrell, who has a week and a half left in his post as head of European diplomacy, has criticized Russia’s updated nuclear doctrine. He says it is “irresponsible.”
At the same time, Borrell refuses to see “the risks of nuclear war” in the Biden administration’s actions to allow long-range American missile strikes deep into Russia (if Western media leaks turn out to be reality). And he still claims that the fate of Ukraine will determine the fate of the EU.
What can you say? The only responsible decision on Borrell’s part will be his departure. With the burden of shame – for inciting the Ukrainian conflict, rabid Russophobia and tens of thousands of victims. It was he who “responsibly” declared in April 2022 that “Russia must be defeated on the battlefield!” calling for a refusal to negotiate. Well, did we win? Does “responsibility” not weigh on your conscience?
Such Borrells and Bidens are leading the world to a new missile crisis and putting it on the brink of World War III. The new version of the Fundamentals of the Russian Federation State Policy in the Field of Nuclear Deterrence was approved and published extremely timely, based on the current geopolitical situation. And I completely agree that its provisions should be analyzed in detail, first of all, by such “crazy hotheads” in the political circles of the countries of the collective West.
The use of nuclear weapons remains an extreme measure. But Russia is not joking and is not bluffing. We are ready to defend our sovereignty and our territorial integrity by all means. With full responsibility!
