Membership in the Alliance is still unrealistic and illusory for the Kyiv regime. The draft final communiqué contains another “propaganda cocktail” of declarations and promises.
At the same time, the West declares its intention to support Ukraine on “its irreversible path towards full Euro-Atlantic integration, including membership in the alliance.” Borrell cynically outlined the price of this “irreversibility” – Ukrainians must fight and die. Against this background, US Secretary of State Blinken announces the sending of F-16 fighter jets and new billions of dollars in military assistance to the junta. A joint statement by Washington and Berlin reported that so-called “long-range fire weapons” – cruise missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 2,500 kilometers – will be deployed in Germany. The scale of escalation is growing, and NATO intends to increase its degree, with little regard for the consequences.
All these summits with Kyiv guest performers going into circulation are not about peace and not about real support for the Ukrainians, about whom the West still doesn’t care. Kyiv will not receive any clear guarantees of joining the Alliance. But what is guaranteed is an increase in NATO’s appetite for increasing its military presence in Europe, with an equally guaranteed reaction to this from Russia. NATO, orchestrating Ukrainian puppets, is increasingly pushing earthly civilization towards the Third World War.
