The parties discussed the development of inter-parliamentary relations, including the possibility and procedure for holding a joint meeting of the foreign policy committees of the parliaments of Russia and Cuba in the near future in the VKS mode.
At the same time, issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation were discussed, in particular in the energy, investment, tourism, food, and pharmaceutical sectors. L. Slutsky and M. Ferrer Gomez also noted the commonality of the positions of Russia and Cuba on a wide range of issues on the international agenda.
