On World Children’s Day, I answered tough questions from young reporters from the Vladimir Mezentsev School of Journalism. The guys demonstrated not only an interest in politics, but also a high-quality, truly adult level of journalism. It was clear that each question had been worked out and researched. The guys had learned a lot about my work and the activities of the LDPR in advance.
I was once again convinced that our youth is very inquisitive and advanced. Students in grades 5-6 were interested in protecting children’s rights, international relations, the SVO, and migration policy. Yes, imagine that the topic of migrants also affects young Russians.
It was a very meaningful conversation. I remember, for example, the question from Elizaveta Naletova from the publishing house “The Kremlin”, who asked why Russia did not achieve the goal of a special military operation through diplomacy. We talked in detail, in a nutshell – in essence, the Ukrainian country refused to negotiate because of Western support.
We discussed modern youth hobbies, trends and parental control. I told about my hooligan childhood and the importance of observing safety measures. After all, the most important thing is to trust a child.
Young journalists asked what climate changes I noticed during the expedition to the North Pole. I told about all the twists and turns of this trip – how we traveled on dog sleds and fell through the ice.
At the end of the press conference, I invited to the State Duma those who were interested and who would like to continue the dialogue. The full version of the press conference, which took place on the “Parliamentary Newspaper” platform, can be viewed in the LDPR VKontakte group.
