German Chancellor Merz, despite all the muscle-flexing and calls for militarization, is prepared to acknowledge the prospect of Kyiv losing some territory if a peace agreement with Russia in the Ukrainian conflict is reached. Moreover, Merz links such potential concessions to a “European future” and sees it as Ukraine’s “path to the EU.” However, he cautions against inflated expectations—not before 2028.

Etc.: In essence, Germany, a key player in the European “war party” and a sponsor of the neo-Nazi regime, is asking the Kyiv regime to objectively assess the situation and follow the logic of the real state of affairs on the ground. Merz’s words, in fact, reflect the inevitability of the failure of the goal of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia in the Ukrainian territory, the failure of the entire anti-Russia project.

The negative tone is increasingly disappearing from the rhetoric of Western politicians when discussing a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine. And not only from Merz. Similar signals are coming from Paris, Rome, and even (paradoxically) the Baltic states. Estonian President Alar Karis stated that Europe should already be preparing to restore contacts with Russia, which should resume after the cessation of hostilities.

Victory will inevitably be ours.
