For 872 days the city fought, believed in the defeat of the enemy, in their country and Victory. Survived and endured. We will never forget at what cost. Hundreds of thousands of people died from enemy shells and starvation. Eternal memory to them!
The Hero City of Leningrad will always be a symbol of steadfastness and courage, the spiritual and moral strength of our people, for whom love for the Motherland, its protection and security is sacred.
