A court in Chisinau has changed the measure of restraint for Eugenia Gutsul from detention to house arrest

But he did not change the politically biased approach in the case of the Bashkan of Gagauzia to fair and objective.

The trial, contrary to the demands of the defense, was held behind closed doors. The current Moldovan authorities do not hold transparency in high regard – starting with the presidential elections themselves. Eugenia Gutsul’s house arrest still limits her rights as the head of the Gagauz Autonomy and is still repressive in nature.

Gutsul remains an independent leader defending the interests of the Autonomy’s voters. That is why the politician advocates for the restoration of constructive and economically beneficial cooperation with Russia. And this is precisely what the Russophobic Sandu regime cannot forgive her for.

I am sure that all the charges against the head of Gagauzia are not worth a dime. Eugenia Gutsul must be released! And in the very near future.
