A few hours ago, as a result of a terrorist attack organized by the Ukronazis from the Kyiv junta, Mikhail Filiponenko, our colleague, head of the LDPR faction in the People’s Council of the Lugansk People’s Republic, died.
A brave, strong-willed and at the same time modest person. Combat veteran, major general, awarded various state and departmental awards of Russia, LPR and DPR. A true hero who gave all of himself for the good of the Russian world, his small Motherland and people who defend the right to speak their native language.
Mikhail stood at the origins of the creation of the people’s militia of the LPR, resisted Nazism for the sake of the peace of his neighbors, friends, relatives – all residents of the Republic. He has always uncompromisingly resisted those who are trying to sow chaos on Lugansk land.
We won’t forget. We won’t forgive. The memory of Mikhail Filiponenko will remain forever.
We met with Mikhail before the September elections and made plans for the future. Mikhail has a wonderful family. He raised two children to be patriots. His son Ivan is a military journalist.
Investigative authorities are looking into the incident. I am sure the culprits will be found and punished.
