“The European Peace Fund, perhaps, should become the Defense Fund of Ukraine”, – said the head of the European diplomacy on arrival at the EU summit.
That is, the Peace Fund will turn – also almost officially – into the War Fund. Well, very honestly and frankly. The collective West does not need peace in Ukraine, in principle. Washington and its European satellites are ready to fight to the “last Ukrainian”, throwing more and more victims into the furnace of the conflict. If only to weaken Russia and achieve, in the end, the disintegration and dismemberment of our country. Here are the real goals. Therefore, according to Borrell, Ukraine “must continue” and “aid” to it must be doubled.
Since February last year, the EU countries have already transferred 3.5 billion euros from the European Peace Fund in the form of 7 tranches of 500 million each for arms supplies to Ukraine. The European Union also allocated 1 billion euros to supply Kiev with more than 1 million shells from existing stocks and 1 billion euros to finance the militarization of the EU military industry and bring the production of ammunition for artillery and air defense systems to 1 million per year. All this at the expense of the taxpayers of the countries of the Old World against the backdrop of a sharp decline in living standards and galloping inflation.
Following this logic, the position of Borrell himself should be renamed from “EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy” to “EU High Representative for the Implementation of Russophobia and War Support.” And it will also be extremely honest.
