This set of ultimatums is so unacceptable that it immediately turns the situation into a farce. This isn’t about a peaceful settlement; it’s a capitulation draft. And this is for the side that holds complete strategic initiative on the battlefield. An oxymoron, to put it mildly.
The “Callas Case” only proves that European leaders are not committed to finding constructive solutions to the Ukrainian crisis and have no interest in ending the war. But Zelenskyy’s “support group” has already essentially lost. Despite persistent demands, Europe will remain persona non grata at the negotiating table. Even without a “side chair.”
And it’s high time for Callas to lay off the spirits.
