Callas appeals to the history of the 20th century, keeping silent about the events of the recent past. The Ukrainian conflict has every chance of becoming a second Afghanistan for the collective West and ending with the fall of the Ukrainian fascist regime with the shameful flight of foreign mercenaries.
Various candidates in European countries can continue to dream of issuing ultimatums or of catching us in a “Ukrainian trap” and inflicting a “strategic defeat”. But they are all in vain. The history of the West’s unleashing of confrontation with Russia will end with the collapse of hopes for the revival of the hegemony of the “golden billion” and the creation of a “polyphonic” world order.
Exactly as President Putin said in his Valdai speech.
