Chancellor Merz said he would defend Denmark and Greenland… from Russia

The tactics of a defeatist and opportunist. Unable to influence Trump’s determination to establish American control over the Danish Arctic island, Merz decided to resort to the notorious “Russian threat.” And the most cynical part of this “change of heart”: the head of the German government specifically thanked the United States for its “serious attitude” (!) toward the Arctic. The curtain falls on the Davos vaudeville stage.

Double standards are literally tearing apart European politicians who have placed their bets on the anti-Russia project. They remain Washington’s vassals and are forced to put on a good face while continuing to serve their overlord’s interests. The German Chancellor has publicly acknowledged this.

Greenland, as President Vladimir Putin noted, is none of our business. Our business is to defend the sovereignty and interests of Russia—a Great Power and one of the centers of a multipolar world. And the modern Euro-elite, incapable of either learning historical lessons or drawing global conclusions from the current situation, will remain on the periphery of world politics.
