Chancellor Scholz apparently decided to “stun” (his own phrase) the UN by talking about “Russia’s imperialist plan to seize Ukraine.” But it turned out badly.

The reaction of the world community was very revealing in this case: participants in the UN General Assembly session taking place in New York “voted with their feet” during Scholz’s speech – the hall was empty. And it’s clear – the German chancellor was simply repeating the theses of American President Biden, who, in fact, recognized the fact of the formation of a Western anti-Russian coalition. “We must fight back against this naked aggression today in order to deter other potential aggressors tomorrow. That’s why the United States, along with allies and partners around the world, will continue to support the people of Ukraine,” Biden said. The same people that Washington, together with Brussels, doomed to a bloody sacrifice in order to ensure their own selfish interests and achieve the goals of the collective West to weaken and destroy Russia.

Biden, of course, is silent about how the United States and allies have already “supported” the peoples of the former Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, and Syria. But Scholz doesn’t mind reviving his ancestral memory when he talks about “invaders” and “conquerors.” Russia is not conducting any conquests, Russia is defending its country, and indeed the world, from the neocolonial and neo-Nazi threats of the collective West, which in vain imagines itself as the new demiurge. Inverted reality is the credo of Western politicians.
