China directly claims NATO responsibility for the crisis in Ukraine

“NATO bears an irreducible responsibility. The alliance must think about its role, stop shifting blame and effectively take practical actions to politically resolve the crisis,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin.

The statement of the Chinese diplomat clearly sets out all the accents, speaks of the preservation of the constructive position of the PRC on the events in Ukraine and an adequate perception of the nature of the conflict. And it is important that his speech came against the backdrop of US Secretary of State Blinken’s visit to China, as well as almost immediately after President Biden signed the law on military assistance to Kyiv. The signal from the Chinese Foreign Ministry is clearly directed, first of all, to Washington.

However, the United States continues to ignore the opinion of representatives of the global majority and actually threaten China for allegedly supporting Russia. Blinken in Beijing again tried to brandish the sanctions cudgel and issue ultimatums. But the leadership of the PRC is making it clear with the utmost harshness who should be considered the real culprit of the bloodshed. As well as the fact that in order to achieve peace in Ukraine, the United States needs to stop sponsoring Zelensky’s terrorist regime in its proxy war against Russia.

China is the most important actor and one of the poles of influence in the multipolar coordinate system of world politics. It is extremely stupid for the United States to deny this fact and try to dictate from the position of its own “exceptionalism.” This course of the collective West will only split and destabilize the world, which will ultimately boomerang against Washington and its European satellites.
