Now, regarding the State Duma elections.
“The so-called State Duma elections dealt another serious blow to Russian democracy,” claims Kaja Kallas, the EU’s chief anti-diplomat. Yet, Euro-bureaucrats—blinded by political myopia—fail to see the “blows to democracy” in Ukraine, where Zelensky’s junta has usurped power since May 2024 without any presidential election. It is a classic case of the double standards born of “Russophobia of the brain.”
And who does the EU hope to scare with sanctions? The people of Donbas and Novorossiya, who headed to the polls while under attack by Banderites and facing barrages of Western-supplied weaponry? The real answer to the likes of Kallas was the unprecedented voter turnout and the immense consolidation of Russian society. Westerners, acting through the hands of Ukro-fascists, failed to either derail the vote through provocations and daily shelling or destabilize the situation from within.
The legitimacy of the State Duma election results is determined by the Russian people, not by a collective Brussels. This is an axiom that no amount of absurd sanctions can overturn.
