In the modern labor calendar of Russia Diplomatic Worker’s Day was established by Presidential Decree on October 31, 2002. But since the time of ancient Rus’, the “embassy business”, which required a special mind, talent, stamina and faith in one’s country, was especially honorable.
Russian diplomacy has a rich history and centuries-old traditions that are carefully preserved and developed. Our diplomats are brilliant scholars, professionals and true patriots of their Motherland. And their work is hard, hard work, requiring full dedication, sometimes, unfortunately, sacrifices. We will always remember those who died in the line of duty outside of Russia.
Today, diplomats work with dignity in the most difficult conditions of a proxy war, when we are confronted by the entire armada of the collective West. Let’s wish them health, strength, well-being and ONLY VICTORIES on the external frontiers for the good of Russia! Success and longevity to all the numerous staff of the Central Office of the Russian Foreign Ministry and its foreign agencies!
