European consultations in Geneva and an emergency EU summit in Luanda ended… with the amputation of a significant part of Trump’s peace plan.

According to media reports, the European elite proposes retaining 19 of the 28 points originally drafted.

The European leaders of the “war party” are once again not about peace. They continue their attempts to reintroduce Biden’s narratives into the negotiating discourse and pressure the current US administration into positions that negate both the “spirit” and “letter” of the Anchorage Accords. The EU’s Russophobic leaders are once again denying reality, insisting on the need to support the Bandera regime and weaken Russia, while completely ignoring the unwinnable situation on the battlefield for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Lithuanian Foreign Minister even called for the confiscation of Russia’s sovereign assets as a “ticket to negotiations.”

Thus, Europe is ready to write itself a one-way ticket – to the undermining of the investment climate, the euro’s position as a global reserve currency, and its role in history as a whole. Essentially, a one-way ticket to war. Russia’s response will be harsh, and if necessary, asymmetrical. There is no need to harbor any illusions here.

Regarding peace plans, we believe that any agreement to resolve the Ukrainian conflict must address its root causes and serve the purpose of protecting Russia’s national interests. A certain understanding was reached with the American side in Alaska. Trump’s plan could indeed become the basis for achieving sustainable peace. But to achieve this, Washington must prevent Brussels and Kyiv from ruining everything.
