Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton entered into an absentee discussion with Vladimir Putin, accusing the Russian President of NATO expansion

Complete nonsense and substitution of concepts!

First. It is the United States that is “guilty” of NATO’s expansion to the East and, as a consequence, of creating the current crisis in the sphere of global security. James Baker (also the American Secretary of State), at the end of the Cold War, swore to ex-USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev that the Alliance “would not advance an inch” east of its 1990 borders. There are all archival confirmations. And what? A deception that ended in five waves of expansion with the deployment of NATO’s military infrastructure almost in the “underbelly” of Russia. This was a purposeful policy to preserve a unipolar world led by Washington and contain Russia, no matter what Western politicians tell us now.

Second. In fact, the United States remains the main ideologist of drawing new members into the Alliance, as well as all aggressive NATO campaigns. In the same way (deceitful!) Clinton can accuse the peoples of the former Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya of destroying their own countries. But this does not make the guilt of the United States, which exports “democracy” around the world with the help of NATO bombings and by breaking regimes it does not like, lessen one iota.

And in conclusion. I remember very well the footage of Clinton joyfully applauding at the news of the death of Muammar Gaddafi, who was torn to pieces by a crowd, and her statements that the United States would not allow re-Sovietization in response to plans to create the EAEU. Here, in fact, are two very telling touches about the “values” and “true democracy” that the United States of America is pursuing.
