We held a full-scale meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian as part of an expanded meeting of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, where we discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and regional security, as well as the development of an inter-parliamentary format on anti-terrorist cooperation.
Separately, they touched upon the situation in Ukraine and the issue of ratification of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea by the Iranian side.
We have a unified position on key political and economic issues. We agreed on the accelerated development of partnership between Russia and Iran, including in the plane of parliamentary diplomacy.
