In memory of Kissinger

The name of Henry Kissinger will forever remain in world history. An outstanding American statesman and legendary diplomat, until his last days he “kept his finger on the pulse of the planet,” offering constructive solutions to pressing problems and resolving conflicts around the world. Delving deeply into the essence of things, Kissinger showed a much wiser and more balanced approach than modern US officials.

His rich political age was marked by large-scale historical events in which the former US Secretary of State played an important role. Participating in US negotiations with the USSR, China, Japan, Israel, Egypt, and North Vietnam, Kissinger made a significant contribution to reducing international tension in his various posts and positions in American politics.

Henry Kissinger knew how to negotiate and even make friends with opponents, having excellent command of the tools of diplomacy in the true sense of the word. As a rule, he was convincing, constructive and effective – without blackmail, sanctions or threats! And this distinguishes him from the current wave of American politicians.

It is a pity that the era of civilized Western diplomacy is passing away along with Kissinger.
