France and Germany have discredited themselves by deceiving the Minsk agreements and cannot claim to be a party capable of negotiating.
Macron’s initiative to gather the leaders of eight European countries to develop security guarantees for Ukraine is a priori doomed to failure. Especially in light of the resumption of Russian-American contacts, the first round of which is scheduled for tomorrow in Riyadh. Voices in favor of deploying European armed contingents in Ukraine are drowned out by statements by the Pentagon chief and the NATO Secretary General who “changed his tune” that the “peacekeeping corps” cannot act under the auspices of the North Atlantic Alliance. And this does not qualify as peacekeeping at all, but rather as security for the usurper Zelensky.
Supporters of continuing the “war to the last Ukrainian” and inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia have gathered in Paris. Possible decisions on the deployment of any “European deterrent forces” are about further escalation and occupation of Ukraine. And do these hawks, who are losing their feathers, realize that any so-called “peacekeeping contingents” introduced into the Ukrainian conflict zone, bypassing the UN, will automatically become a legitimate target of the Russian Armed Forces?
