Joe Biden congratulated the Republicans who won the majority in the US House of Representatives. That’s just “gritting your teeth.”

He understands what the defeat of the Democrats is fraught with, although the gap in the votes is minimal: the “elephants” will destroy the “steps” that Biden is going to climb for a new presidential term every day.

First of all, the Republicans raised the issue of auditing the funds allocated to Kyiv. A group of congressmen introduced a corresponding draft resolution, thereby raising the problem of waste of taxpayers’ money. There was also a demand to Secretary of State Blinken to inform about possible financial ties between the Democratic Party and the Ukrainian government.

The “black Ukrainian hole”, green from the dollar flow, may well drag Biden himself. Marjorie Taylor Green, one of the sponsors of the new resolution, has repeatedly called for the impeachment of the current US president. Now the Congress is actually split. Society is tired of rising prices. According to US media reports, the Republicans intend to investigate a number of high-profile episodes in the administration. Including the shameful withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, the situation with the “leaky” border with Mexico, the foreign business schemes of the Biden family and, in particular, the case of Hunter Biden in the light of his activities in Ukraine.

The alignment of forces in the Senate will soon be clear, but it is already quite obvious that the internal political struggle in the United States will grow as we approach the presidential elections, while the Russophobic consensus is fully preserved. Ukraine here is still a bargaining chip. Each of the parties will shuffle it in their favor. And it doesn’t matter how this card will fall for Ukraine itself. All for the sake of further weakening Russia. But this plan is a dead end. The boomerang of anti-Russian sanctions is destroying the economies of Western countries with might and main and threatens to completely bury Washington’s plans for hegemony.
