The Liberal Democratic Party has developed a program to protect and support military correspondents. We will strive to obtain the status of a combat veteran for journalists, guarantees and payments in cases of injury, injury or death, as well as support and protection for their family members. Separately, we will work on the issue of bloggers, who, along with the military correspondents, talk about the situation on the front. Corresponding proposals have already been sent to the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia.
This is not the first time I have met with military correspondents, and again we had an extremely frank conversation. We checked our watches, shared positions and impressions.
In our country, many young people still do not understand the reasons for the onset of SVO. Military correspondents, having incomparable experience, can talk about reality, teach young people to understand the current information realities. Together we are launching the educational project “School of Military Correspondents”.
