LDPR proposes to tighten the rules for obtaining Russian citizenship

The LDPR has always advocated tightening migration policy. We are introducing a bill to make the selection of applicants for citizenship and residence permits more thorough. We need to close all the loopholes where it is easier to obtain documents and enjoy the benefits of a citizen of our country.

If we allow foreigners into our country, then these should be the best representatives of in-demand professions, educated and talented people. People who value the very opportunity to become a Russian citizen, because it is a great honor and privilege.

A person who really wants to become a citizen of our country must invest economically. Work for 10 years or serve in the army under a contract. If children were born in marriage, raise them for at least 3 years. We are ready to accept those people who are close to our values and traditions, who can and want to work for the country. And whoever only wants to make money from us should not count on citizenship.
