EU sanctions failed to “bend” Russia, they only hurt the European economy. We have now decided to lower the “Iron Curtain” and engage in vulgar segregation, that is, the division into “good” Russians and Russians from, they say, Putin’s Russia.
What do they want to achieve? Changes in the attitude of Russians to the special operation in Ukraine in exchange for the right to travel to Europe for recreation and shopping? They won’t, for sure. Just as this decision will not be able to influence the course of events in Ukraine.
And Russia, I am sure, will not leave another bout of obscurantism in Brussels without consequences.
