With surprise, turning into indignation, I read today the news about the formation of the five principles of the European Parliament in relation to Russia, where the results of the elections to the State Duma that have not yet taken place, but only the upcoming elections to the State Duma in September, are being questioned. The election campaign has not even started, but the mobilization is already announced on the recognition of its results as falsified (!)
The EP committee on international affairs is proposing to Brussels, in fact, a Venezuelan-Belarusian scenario of interference in the formation of Russian legislative bodies. But nothing will come of you, gentlemen! Russia will certainly invite independent international observers who will have every opportunity to make sure that the elections are held according to democratic standards, transparently and honestly. All plans to declare the new convocation of the State Duma illegitimate will suffer a crushing fiasco.
In general, this next Russophobic report makes us think once again about the adequacy of our, if I may say so, partners and colleagues. “Cookies” in the form of “the advantages of the Eastern Partnership” in Russia will not work, attempts of a rude invasion of the affairs of a sovereign state will not work either!
