Leonid Slutsky: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said he considers Russia an unreliable gas supplier

In Europe, meanwhile, they continue to stay in their alternate reality. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said he considers Russia an unreliable gas supplier.

Who definitely should not talk about reliability is the European states that allow the illegal imposition of sanctions, the expropriation of financial assets, the disgusting cancellation culture!

The German Chancellor’s words are yet another attempt to shift the blame for the crisis in Europe onto Moscow. It was the thoughtless anti-Russian policy of containment that led to the imbalance in the energy markets. And now it is useless to announce a price increase in the name of Putin or call for strategic patience of the Europeans.

And one more thing: it is very interesting how Mr. Scholz evaluates the business qualities of Ukrainian partners? For example, the former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Razumkov, proposed to “confiscate” excess Russian gas from transit pipelines. Or again “poking”. Passed already in 2008-2009.

Russia, Mr. Scholz, has been, is and will be a reliable business partner. The agreement signed today on the export of Ukrainian grain is yet another confirmation of this. It is the authorities of European countries that today, for the sake of Euro-Atlantic solidarity, put anti-Russian rhetoric above the business interests and needs of ordinary voters. But it’s their choice…
