Washington continues to whip up hysteria. Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Jake Sullivan said that the American authorities supposedly do not rule out that the Russian Federation could “annex Donbass.” Moreover, in his opinion, this will be accompanied by some “hybrid actions, including cyber attacks and political destabilization.”
Political destabilization in Ukraine began in 2014 thanks to the distribution of “cookies” on the Maidan. It was precisely the consequence of the policy of external management, which turned Ukraine into a bargaining chip, that the conflict in Donbass became. People did not want the dictates of nationalists fueled by the West, they did not want to give up their native Russian language, they did not want to live by someone else’s rules. But their point of view does not excite Washington. The United States and its closest allies, including the “Young Europeans”, continue to pump weapons into Ukraine that will shoot at civilians in the LPR and DPR. At the same time, under the pretext of the “Russian threat”, the collective West is ready to draw closer and closer to the borders of our country the NATO contingent and arsenals.
Meanwhile, Czech President Milos Zeman opposed sending Czech troops to Ukraine because it is not part of NATO. He recalled that the Alliance fundamentally does not accept into its ranks countries where a civil war is taking place, and in Ukraine, according to him, “a civil war is taking place,” and not some kind of hybrid and supported by Russia, as they like to say in Washington.
These words, like any other adequate assessment of what is happening, caused a storm of indignation in Kiev. Foreign Minister Kuleba called Zeman’s words an attempt to cause “damage to Ukrainian-Czech relations.”
If anyone harms the peace settlement in Donbass, it is the Ukrainian authorities and their American puppeteers.”
