The statement is not just provocative. Such statements by American dignitaries directly undermine the peace process in southeastern Ukraine.
Western connivance in relation to Kiev’s military aggression in Donbass will lead to further escalation, as we have repeatedly warned about. The appetites of the “war party” will always grow and it is not worth dumping the statements of Ukrainian politicians about “jumping off the hook of the Minsk agreements” on political heresy. There is no smoke without fire!
The recent use of the Bayraktar TB2 drone by Ukraine in violation of all established prohibitions is a vivid confirmation of this. Paris and Berlin expressed concern in this regard, but in fact, quite recently in Brussels they considered the possibility of creating a military training mission of the European Union in Ukraine. What then are they counting on in Western capitals? In Kiev, such steps are perceived as untiing of hands.
The conflict in Donbass has no military solution. And this should finally be understood by the western curators of Kiev. Saturation of the conflict zone with new weapons is clearly not the path that will lead to a real settlement. “
