Leonid Slutsky: Sergey Lavrov said that experts from the European Medicines Agency did not express any complaints about the Russian Sputnik V vaccine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper said that experts from the European Medicines Agency did not express any complaints about the Russian Sputnik V vaccine and the degree of its effectiveness.

Good news. Although a number of countries did not wait for the approval of European regulators and purchased Sputnik V. And the incidence is on the decline there.

One example was the state of San Marino, which, thanks to the Russian vaccine, coped with the pandemic – the number of detected cases there is minimal. Yesterday, the European Commission recognized electronic digital vaccination certificates for residents of San Marino, including those vaccinated by Sputnik V. At the same time, of course, the politically correct European officials hastened to clarify that there is no talk of approving the Russian drug yet. But the truth is becoming more difficult to hide behind double standards.

Meanwhile, pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Moderna have increased prices for their coronavirus vaccines amid rising global demand as international regulators delay registration of Sputnik V. An exemplary example of “market competition”. Q.E.D.

However, we would like to believe that the ice has broken in the direction of recognizing the Russian vaccine, and the EU will still be guided primarily by common sense.
