Western “cancellation culture” today has reached new frontiers of absurdity.
The British authorities have added Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to the sanctions list. The reason is participation “in actions that destabilize Ukraine.”
Orthodox faith destabilizes Ukraine? What is stabilizing? Western arms shipments, neo-Nazism and LGBT battalions? Persecution of the church in history has never led to anything good.
The authors of these lists should take a look in the mirror. There they would have seen real destabilizers – those who for years pitted the fraternal Slavic peoples for their own geopolitical benefit, split the Ukrainian believers.
God is one and sees everything…
