Fascist radicals poured paint over the head of our diplomatic mission and disrupted the laying of wreaths at the Memorial Cemetery of Soviet Liberators.
The general Russophobic hysteria, the consistent attack on historical memory, the indulgence of the reincarnation of Nazism in neighboring Ukraine – all these are the causes and consequences of today’s incident. But there is no justification for this and cannot be.
The Polish authorities must not only ensure the completion of the commemorative ceremony, but also find and punish all those responsible.
