Leonid Slutsky: “The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, I must say, surpassed the US President in trying to create an alternative reality in which, according to her, it is Russia, and not the collective West, that threatens the “European security architecture” “.

In her speech, the head of the EC again accused Russia of allegedly “being a threat” to “free Ukraine”, whose authorities are actually engaged in language discrimination, closing opposition TV channels and carrying out an outright genocide of the population of Donbass. Moreover, von der Leyen argued, “the Kremlin’s dangerous thinking, which springs directly from a dark past, could cost Russia a prosperous future.” Then the head of the EC put on a hackneyed record about sanctions. All the previous was just an eyeliner.

I wonder if Mrs. von der Leyen insisted on sanctions against Poland for human rights violations during the migration crisis on the border with Belarus? When did the Polish military and border guards use gas and water cannons against migrants, while the Belarusian authorities, on the contrary, tried to alleviate their plight by distributing food and building temporary shelters? But even then there were those who blamed Minsk and Moscow for everything, allegedly in this way a threat to European stability was created.

A real threat to the security architecture of the continent is the practice of outside-inspired color revolutions, Maidans, followed by the West pumping weapons into its wards so that they destroy those who disagree with the “democratizers”. This civilizing policy from time to time leads to humanitarian catastrophes, and Russia and its allies have to deal with the consequences all the time, whom the collective West only accuses of all sins.

According to the latest data, about 36 thousand people have already arrived in the Rostov region from the DPR and LPR. Question to the head of the European Commission – what are these people running from? From a free and democratic Ukraine to Russia with its “dark past”? They are running from Ukrainian militants, nationalist battalions and shells that say “to the children of Donbass.” It is the observance of their rights, the main of which is the right to life, that the European Union should turn its attention to, and not engage in dubious predictions.

The military adventure of Kiev will not turn out to be anything good, this can be said absolutely accurately and without “fortune-tellers”. Ukraine has one way – the implementation of the Minsk agreements, there can be no other solution for this conflict!”
